I'm sorry to hear that your life doesn't seem to be the best at this moment. Of course I can always tell you to look at the bright side, but thinking that just saying that will help you isn't going to help at all. I must say though, you took a lot of hits in this holiday season. You seem to be blaming yourself for a lot of the things that happened. But from what I see, the hits you took isn't your fault 100%. Stuff just happens, especially stuff you can't control. Okay, I don't know the details of your breakup from your recent girlfriend, but you guys hooked up in high school, and usually, about 99% of the relationships in high school don't last too long. You guys are still growing up as young adults and changing, probably changing apart from each other. Studies have shown that the younger a couple is, the more likely they'll split afterwards, since people are still changing when they're growing up. Anyways, before I bore you, I'll stop writing soon. Remember that stuff happens, and maybe it's a sign that you're growing up.

The even MORE illogical thing about your whole birthday plan is that people could kidnap you and make you drink some OTHER time. You know, it's not like you turn 21 and then that's the only day you can ever drink. You can now drink FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIFE, so running away on that ONE day isn't all too helpful.
